Using lonely numbers
Wrong Track: Wow, 30 kilowatt, that's huge.
Wrong Track: Turning your phone charger off for 19 hours is great
Right Lines: 3600 watt from the solar panels is enough to boil the kettle (2600 watt) or lots of lightbulbs (5 watt each) but not rmenough to run the water gmheating (4200 watt)
Give a number a context
Is this really a big number, or rather small? You can only establish this by comparing it with another number. So always connect a number with other numbers(ensuring that the comparison is fair).
As you're comparing quantities, which must have both number and unit, it's a good idea to make sure the units match.
